Thanks very much for the update!

Do these kits use a standard AKM receiver?

Do the East German .22lr mags CFS sells work with these kits?

Thanks very much in advance for any information.

    one at a time

    first your welcome

second I don't know about the romanian kits, the east german kits use the same reciever with no lower rails

third I don't know about the eg mags working BUT if you look at the pictures it looks like the same style block that supports the mag top other than that I can't help
if they do fit, centerfire also has EG .22cal mags
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

yea i been looking at those too.

i don't think i'll deal with CFS again though. they kind of jerked me around on some stuff last time. M+M might be a go though.

Can one of you guy's measure the length of the bolt and post a pic of the barrel face installed in the front trunnion ?
I already made a 9mm Vityaz clone. I think one in .22 that used ruger 10/22 mags would be cool also.

gwailo - the CFS product page for the .22 kit has a picture that shows the barrel face/front trunnion. Click on it for a larger version.

A standard 74 receiver works with these. No the East German mags won't work as-is, you can make them work by modifying them.

Is the bullet guide a rectangle shaped block with the ejector attached?
