    Default Sportmans guide folding stock

Saw these today. Reviews say they are romainian not polish and not type 1. Still, for $17.99-19.99 good deal I think. All mounting hardware included. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c...campaign=f334c

It says it's for milled receivers. I wonder if it's the same as a stamped (assuming you have a folder trunnion)

So, it's kind of like the old SG mag lottery. Might be fun to order 3 just to see what I get!

In reading the reviews they indeed have NO clue what they have. Or just don't care. Still, I may order one for a future frankenbuild.

the east germans were right the underfolder was outdated circa 1970's, thats why they pioneered the sidefolder much better sturdier lockup at least with their design
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

Even at $20 that's a decent deal, if you think you can use one I suggest getting one (or some).

All of them so far have been the downturn single side locking variety from what I have seen in pictures. These are common on Romanian and various milled AK47 models. They could be adapted to double side locking but the downturned angle is a like it or hate it thing. Also on some trunnions the downturn angle stops the stock from locking when folded closed. It depends on the trunnion type used.
The majority I have seen in pics so far seem to be one of the three Romanian pattern underfolders. Price is right though.
