I don't just wondering about the claims. Sure they have to be that good but I would still like to hear it from here. Thanks!
I have not, but I'd like to know too. I see them advertized in magazines from to time and wondered myself. They are a bit spendy though, for sure.
Dude, I drive a 16 year old Wrangler. I'm not rich enough to have 'experienced' a shepherd. Want to hit what you're looking at? Get yourself a 'Rifleman's' patch at an AppleSeed Event. You'll hit minute-of-squirrel-head at 100 yards and minute-of-blue-helmet-head at 500 yards. WITH IRON SIGHTS.
My jeep is a 99 .Don't think I'll ever spend twice for a scope than the rifle! Just wondering.lol!
which brand of scope a few years ago was putting videos up on the internet of elk kills @ 1,000m and was later discovered the videos were doctored?
i can't recall which brand it was --but one of the spendy $$$$$ ones.
my experience with scopes these days is that 97% of the ability of a scope is in that first $400 or so. i can't hardly justify spending more than what a vortex viper would cost on SWFAs "sample list" for my own use.
if i was trying to do something incredible like make hits on a bulleys # 1,000 m i might go to a razor or a sightron or a fixed power scope even .
i have heard of shepherd i suspect the make some good scopes now if their worth the asking price ???--that is another ball game--
Yea, I get it. But Mr. Dew. It works.
I'm sure it does. We surely need programs like that. Grandpa taught me to shoot, and Uncle Sam refined my talents. But many didn't have that opportunity. So for many it would be a good thing.
seen these things a lot... but never shot one. always wondered if they were really any good.
seems like most of you are the same way. so who actually has one of these?
say what you mean & mean what you say
