Curtis is a good guy!!!
I did not know were else to put this comment so I put It here.
I never delt with this vendor before and didnt know what to expect. I orderd a jig and some flats for polish underfolders. I spoke to him on the phone and he seemed to be a very quality person to deal with, but the order took much longer then I thought it should have. I bit my tounge and just waited for the product to arrive. They arrived this last friday and I must say I was very very pleased with everything that was sent. On his sight he stated that he was having trouble finding good flats to work with and I think that was the reason for the delay. He had modifyed some flats to work for the polish underfolders and fixed the errors he felt the flat had. Well let me tell you that these flats are just awsome, every hole is perfect without a doubt. I wish he had done the front trunion holes as well because it would have been perfect as well. I cant wait for the flats he is having made himself, If he is that good making other flats that good his will be unbelivable.
Thanks for posting this, its always helpful to hear of good experiences. Helps to know of good options for future builds!
Curtis is a garage style manufacturer and he does farm some stuff out to machine shops as well. He is really good to deal with and a nice guy. He is our connection for making the Gunco stikcers and he is good at answering questions.
I have/had 4 of his flats, [1 underfolder] and they bend and build great! I snoozed when he also had side folder flats for sale, but his web site states they will be returning. Yeah! I'll be ordering some as soon as they are available.
Curtis is a great guy to deal with!!!
