    Default Beware gunbroker seller Jeff11

I recently bought 6 TG/ stock tang combos from him.
1 arrived broken. He ignored my first email, when I sent him the 2nd email, He told me to send it back for replacement.

I replied that the stock tang was good, all I needed was a replacement TG.
I even offered a couple of alternative solutions, that would have worked out better for both of us.
Then He tells me he has no more available, and IF he ever gets anymore, He will replace it. IF? WTF?
I can see this is never going to happen, First He's going to replace it, then all of a sudden, he doesn't have any.

So I figure I'll just leave a accurate feedback of the transaction and move on.
So what does this clown do? He leaves me a negative feedback, saying He does not believe it's broken, like I'm trying to pull a fast one.
I sent him the pics, and he originally said he would replace it, now I'm the bad guy?

He has a lot of positive feedback, I don't know about you, but I judge a seller based on how he handles the problems that are bound to come up from time to time, such as this one.
Every time a deal goes sour, he claims the other party is a deadbeat and/or liar.
Well fortunately, I saved all the emails we exchanged, proving he is the liar.

I would have just walked away from this, not enough money involved to worry about, but him leaving Me a negative feedback, just pisses me off
I'll be damned if I'll let him make me out to be the bad guy.

This was his most recent reply

When I have more later, I will just send you that. But don't know when I
will be getting more rear end parts. here he says he doesn't have anymore

I had a similar issue on Ebay where a guy slammed me in feedback and never contacted me to see if I would fix or replace the issue.

I finally went to the independent arbitrator, paid them the fee of $20 and gave the guy back 50% of his money to make him happy. All over a scratch on a used Ford Escape headlight lens I sold for my neighbor.

When I asked why he didn't contact me first he said it's not my problem, you didn't log into Ebay for 2 weeks and I don't believe you in the first place because you are scamming me. I had 54 good feedbacks and no bad at the time.

First of all.... He got the light for $40 shipped, anyone wnows how expensive those assy's are knows he got a deal!

Some people are just assholes to be assholes!

The good news for you Max is that Gunbroker feedback is 100% editable by the person posting it. If you can work it our with Mr. Kim he can change it to a positive feedback. Jeff is a full time seller with hundreds of auctions on many sites who is over loaded with emails and he is a moody character and a bit scatter brained. He is not a poeple person and rarely answers the questions you ask him with a full response. I have asked him questions and he replied with half answers. When I pressed him for the full answer he got mad and said don't ask me again. I ended up not buying anything from him.

Bottem line is he is for the most part trustworthy but dont expect freindly service and if there is a problem you might be out of luck.

Jeff11 also goes by "GONG" on Guns America

Sorry tohear your problems. I feel the same way you do. I really don't feel like people like this should be cut any slack. If they don't have time to answer the emails and questions and concerns about orders, they shouldn't be selling things in the first place. I would plaster this thread on every gun board I could.

This page is hot linked to 11 other firearms forums.
It would have been more but I haven't been to the others for so long, I can't even remember my screen names, let alone the passwords.
I also linked it in my reply to his comments at gunbroker.

At this point, it has nothing to do with the broken TG, it's about honor.

He says "I smell a new law"??? No I smell a rip off artist!! Yeah, there are banning trigger guards,Cmon!! His weak attempt to try and change the subject from his sending out shoddy merchandise to the boogie man is going to ban them so be happy with what you got is laughable. What a cheap bastard!!!
Sorry you got ripped Max but I appreciate the heads up. I will never buy any thing from him!!

    Angry

Go to Auction Arms and read my Negative feedback for Ol' Jeffy boy. Yes, he just had to do the same for me, a real asswipe for sure. Anyone can sell, but some sellers will hose you if a mistake is made on their part along the way and call you a liar, Jeff11 is one of those. By the way be glad you got ANY response from him, he fell off the face of the earth when he screwed up my order.
