My Leatherman Wave has been well used, it is one of the first issued. It had developed a loose handle, could hardly open the pliars. So, I sent it to Portland, with the explanation that it was not a fault but one of extreme use. About five days later a Brand NEW latest model Wave arrived.
I know that Leatherman is not supportave of us Gun Nuts ,but, a Company that supports there users this way will get my accolades.

I know that my super tool is so much a part of me, that absent it , I would be totally lost. I can not say a bad thing about leatherman and their product.
I live in Portland and my shop is only a mile from the plant. I have bought probably 10 of them over the years and had to take almost all of them in for a replacement due to abuse. There customer service is great!
A friend of mine,whose a cluts, somehow snapped the handle off the scissors of my Wave.I was wondering how there customer service was and now I know.Thanks for the report.
Just send it to them they are great! Hell I broke one on purpose just to get a new one once.
