    Angry Browning X-Bolt SUCKS!!!!

Not only will Browning NOT issue an R.A. for the NEW 7mm rem mag Xbolt that is , not only keyholing, but putting bullets on paper SIDEWAYS at 300-400 yds, but they told me that they cannot gaurantee the rifle at over 100 yds!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

After 4 boxes of various Hornady factory loads and 4 shooters, we all had the same results...

If you are stuck with it, and no one will help you factory wise, you could try to have a gunsmith recrown it. Sometimes a poor crown will destabilize a bullet and cause keyholing. If not have the damn thing rebarreled. I have to agree with you though. buy a 700......

So after SEVERAL phone calls and conversations with "managers" and "engineers" at Browning, I am being told that I need to send it in because the DO want to look at it, but WILL NOT gaurantee the MOA beyond 100 yds.
Don Sheridan at Special Projects, Unlimited told me that since we already shot 139, 154 and 168 grain ammo, with the same results, that the barrel is most likely JUNK...

    THANKs BROWNING

They must've laid off that department......Although this isnt MY rifle per se, I'm trying to help my buddy out because he aint so saavy about "complaining" properly and "getting heard".

This is an eye opener for me to say that least....and shameful for Browning who enjoys a good reputation(for whatever reason)
