What is the diameter of your MAK-90's barrel now?

Being at work I can't measure it, but I think it's 12.5 or there about?

I've looked into this too for a .223 mak. You can rethread with a 1/2-28 (which is AR-15 threads I belive) then you can use a thread adaptor from say www.facamerica.com to go to 22mm or to 24mm .

Dynasystems also produces a US AK74 style brake in 1/2x28 with a .223 hole or you can have them make a custom .223 brake threaded 14x1 for the threaded 5.56 MAKs.

    BTW:

I measured my MAK barrel with the stripped off threads. It is 13 mm and a touch more.

I was wrong about the 12.5 measurement.

    It was around a 1000th or 2.

Basically 13 mm or 1/2 inch.

I'll try to get the precise measurement tonight instead of forgetting it like I did before.
