A big :thumbsdow for Cabela's in Hamburg PA, or maybe it should be :flip:.
Late Sept or early Oct they had a sale for a Savage BTV 22lr rifle for $190, everyone else in the area wanted 300+. So he went up on the first day of the sale to get one, and guess what, they didn't have any in stock, so they gave him a raincheck.
Well he found out last week, they have no raincheck on file for him.
I would have been a little upset too. I have to say the cabellas I shop at in sidney nebraska is very good though nebraskans would probably riot if they ran out of ammo
I've only been in there twice, when they first opened to see what was on sale. And coming back from a junk yard near there, had to take a dump and wash the junk yard grime off my hands.
That would be pretty lousy if they ignored that. If he has it then I would use the 'keep asking for the next level person in charge' method until he finds someone who doesn't want to be bothered and gives him what he wants
At sidney I never ask the checkout people I always do my dealings with the guys back at the gun counter especially the older guys that look like the've been there a while and one of the sayings I live by is "the sqeeky wheel gets oiled"
Have mostly bought clothing and footware from them during sales and have had few problems. Their regular prices are a little steep.
