That 26.5mm round is very close to 4 gauge ( 1.025 inch shell). Perhaps those old 4 gauge shot shells could be reloaded for signal flares etc.

Something new to us, cheaper than normal by a third & I don't have one as of yet. New Year's eve would be enhanced by a bunch of flares like these! Or maybe we are just bored with the same ole same ole & want to try something different!

Yeah, mainly when the pistols are $50 or less.

    I've got one.

Really well made. Has a chrome lined barrel. Comes with all sorts of accessories including the yearly certification/log book and test target. Not sure if I want to be launching that many flares but sooner or later someone is going to WESCOG something really cool for this.

Now, you have done it! You had to go & show pictures from an owners view point, not the sellers. I guess I' ll have to call Pam or Ann & see if they have any of these flare guns left to sell .

No flare gun, don't need it!

Well, this is essentially a "Flare Musket", not a pistol so it should be more accurate and soak up a lot more recoil. Cops have all sorts of toys they can shoot from their 37mm launchers, like tear gas rounds, beanbag, rubber buckshot, or batons. Possessing "anti-personnell" rounds along with a launcher turns the combo into a DD, requiring NFA registration. However, if SHTF and worse comes to worse, well those AL flare cartridges look like ya could use a 209 primer to reload them. Old broomstick handle sections look a lot like the baton rounds....... Plus with that long ass bbl you can put some pretty long custom rounds of mayhem in the thing.

Possible reloads include old 20mm Hisso brass which is nearly 1 inch diameter (0.995 inch at base). 25mm chaingun projos are another item. The possibilities are mind-boggling.

Got my Flair Launcher in. This is a very well made unit, and is new.
I think it was made to do more than launch flairs. Very heavy duty barrel.
Comes with a large target. The large target has 3 large holes in it. Wonder what they used to put the holes in target, and at what range.
    Well worth the money.
I agree with eyegun. Someone will some up with something real cool with this flair rifle.
