    Default Flair launcher From Centerfire

I've wonted this CZ BRNO Flair Launcher 26.5mm for a few years, but did not like the $300.00 price tag. Well it's on sale for $199.00 at Centerfire, and I did take the bate.
    Has anybody tried one out?

I'm in the same boat, but don't quite trust CFS after the PSL mag deal. The Flare Launcher is supposed to be real nice, but they reduced it because it wasn't selling after over a year @ $300.00! I'd like to have one, but will wait for your opinion after you get yours!

    Dan's surplus has the flares.
Not too bad a deal for the variety, red, green, blue smoke flares,
parachute type. Variety pack of 30 for $100

Don't forget that flares require Hazmat shipping charges. Can really kill a deal.

$25.00 hazmat tag puts a damper on me buying flares! My remedy to that problem is to pick up more cases of flares @ Knob Creek next month like I have for the last few years. Decoding the boxes is always a challenge unless the vendor staples a list of flares available along with a legend that describes the boxes!!

A short box with a single stripe is a single flare in that color, if it has multiple stripes it's usually a three burst, the longer boxes are usually smoke or parachute (not 100% on the parachute length but I think that's right).

Yeah the cost of 26.5mm flares is really up now...3.99 each when you can find 'em.
I've seen 12 ga flare adapters, but wouldn't it be neat if you could get/make a 26.5mm adapter to a rifle round, maybe .223 or 5.45mm or even 7.62x54R ?
