Thumbs up American AK mags at DPH

I just got my mags from Scott DPH Arms . To say I am pleased is a big under statement. They are fantastic!!! The fit is like a bulgy waffle mag tight but no problem. I had it in both my Hess receiver and OOW receiver models. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!! It is a very cheap way to get three compliance parts and a great product as well. Scott is one of our first venders and supports this board. Hey Scott, is there anything you don't do well. Thanks Jack

Let us know how they work after 1,000 rounds.
Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

That may take some time. I have a couple of builds in process, one being another STG58 and a Russian AK (underforlder). But I will remain critical, my first impressions are above. BTW this is not my first purchase from Scott. He is still #1 in my book. Jack

Are these made by Promag? I just received a Tapco catalog, and then have them pictured in there. They "look" good, but lets see how they hold up.

Tapco is sold out until later this month but I plan on buying one and putting it through the ringer.

I'm worried about the locking lugs. I say, someone sit down and watch TV with their AK & empty mag and just load/unload the mag in the rifle. That will put "excessive" wear on the magazine retaining lugs and let us see if they will act like "thermelts" over time
