I broke a drill bit in one of the rear trunion holes. The broken part is about 1/4" below the surface of the trunion. When I try to drill that out, my new bit wants to wander off to the side. I broke that one to. Any ideas on how I should procede?

It's all but impossible to drill a drill bit straight. You will have to drill from the other side and punch it out,or buy a trunion.

Grind the shaft even with the rivet with a diamond grinder and Dremel tool, then drill out with a carbide drill bit. Go VERY slow and use LOTS of oil.
I have a daughter. I tell her, "911 is what you dial after you're raped. 1911 is what you should have before they try."
