    Nice! Another early model!

If you've got anything earlier with S-XX, or later than '86 with S-XX, please post them!

Got a pic? A fletched arrow on a Romanian rifle would be unusual.
I have a daughter. I tell her, "911 is what you dial after you're raped. 1911 is what you should have before they try."

    Huh... Didn't think they'd be G's without the S...

So, there goes the S-xx theory. X)

^^ Is the X actually there, or are you masking it? (Hard to tell over the internet, gotta ask)

I have one "G" kit with no "S" - from the AK forum survey and general consensus, the S series started in 1980, with some non-"S" overlap in the beginning of the year. Also, the occasional arrow triangle trunnion exists after 1980, as well.

    1984, empty triangle, S-BA4256
    1978, arrow triangle, IM3998

    MD65 (parts kit, non-matching)
1970, arrow triangle, DA2331 (from what I can tell, the Romanians didn't distinguish "G" from non-"G" serial numbers).

I'll have to double check the year but I have 2 with the numbers 0019 and 0061.
