Has anyone bought the Sportsman's guide kit? The description says something about a barrel but there are no pictures. I am always a little leary about buying from SG.

I purchased the Sportsmans Guide M85 deal. It is about the best being offered. 5 mags, pouch sling, kit with non-chrome US barrel.
    Have not buit it yet.

Do you stencil the trunnion from the receiver?
You can but sometimes the receivers aren't dead on, so it can be used as a guide but don't count on it being 100% correct.

Yes they come with the barrel. I didn't get one but have seen pics from others and they look like nice kits.
And what akblue said, it's a decent deal with all the extras that come with it.

Coils, help me out! What would be the best way to go about taking care of that rear trunnion?

I would send the whole kit to Gunco member Restoreit & let him prep it for final assembly.

I don't think it's the same, but I'll get out an UF kit & receiver I got and check it over the weekend, it might help in some way

I can't remember how close the Polish is to the Yugo, there is a difference. Also try to look around at some of the pics, there's a couple in this thread alone. If I'm remembering it right, the Yugo stock arms are almost straight (level) when open, the others have a downward angle.
But here's a link to the library with a Polish UF template, if I come across anymore I'll post it.

However you decide to do it, using a template/plan or the receiver openings, I'd drill it out close starting with the smaller holes and finish it with a dremal & hand tools.
Or do what Bradrock said and see what Restoreit would charge, he does great work.

Take your time and be patient, all the answers will come and you'll do it right.

I installed the unfinished trunnion into the receiver then proceeded
to make the cut outs. The small holes in the receiver make nice
    drilling guides.

By that, I mean to say that I riveted the trunnion in for good,
prior to drilling. A cordless drill worked just fine for this operation.
