    How did the barrel install and head space work out with the virgin kit?

    Good. Did the standard press barrel in, check with go gauge, check with no-go gauge, press some more, check again, went too far, press back out, check again, press back in, check again, etc.... Finally got it perfect. I marked the trunnion with a center punch on both sides after measuring several trunnions to see exactly where the barrel pin hole was. Drilled from both sides with a 1/8" drill, rechecked, steped it up to a #21 hole, rechecked, stepped it up to a 1/4", rechecked, then did a final ream to .2756. Pinned it, and checked headspace again, and it's on the tight side, but good.
