OOW stands for Ohio Ordnance Works. A very popular source for 100% AK receivers. http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/

Thank You AKaTom. Do AMD65 parts kits typically come with select fire components(Safe/Semi/Auto) or does the company swap them out for semi-auto for you? I was looking at a Yugo AK kit that has the semi-auto FCG included but I haven't seen that advertised with any AMD kits. Thank you again, Rayanne

Doesn't matter as most people put a US made set in to get their foreign parts count down. The AMD65 I got from Tapco had the FCG swapped for Euro semi parts but I don't know if other sources do this or not.

    Default Thank You KK

kernelkrink, No matter what, it sounds like I should just plan on buying a USA made FCG. When an AMD65 is configured as a pistol, does deleting the buttstock assembly count towards being more compliant? Thanks again!

Or that companies like Century would be able to manufacture the necessary parts to make weapons compliant and thus for sale.

Actually, the law only applies to long guns. There is no parts count on an AK pistol - you can use all imported parts.

Here's a parts count question. I have a Romanian 75 round drum mag. It has a body; it has a follower. I don't see any floorplate though - does it only count for two against the ATF list?

If both the front and rear trunnion in an AKM build are imported, does that then count as 2 imported parts against your parts count?

No, Although the stock tang is frequently referred to as the rear trunnion, it is not a trunnion. It is not a "countable" part
