Apologies akblue, just noticed those images you posted earlier in the Thread,

I'm missing a lot lately it seems !!----Must be an age thing.

Just "broke ground" on a new blank. Drilled TG holes and before I go any further will be measuring (got 12"caliper this morning) as I go..

To repeat myself, all I can find different is receiver length .

If you come across that Top Yugo longer cover let me know how much you want for. No hurry , doing the rear Trunion last.

Sucks about the Craftsman vise. Maybe look into getting a Kurt vise. Used them when I was a machinist, tough as nails. Craftsman stuff is alright for the average garage tinker, get into some hardcore metal fab stuff, best to invest in some more durable equipment.

    Wow, that's quite a difference.

Almost done with the new corrected build. Think I posted somewhere else that the original '86 rear stub was dished out at the back to allow the trunion to be fitted.

You were right, the barrel stacking dictated the game, even from it's 1986 Romanian Birth.
Vampires !!-------got some of my Blood for sure.
