Default AMD 65 Rear trunion question

Is it possible to just pin these and use the stock as a fixed stock. Figured I would make a piece of bent rod cheek piece like being sold to add to the rod of the stock. Figured that way I would not have to cut up the back of my Polish receiver either.

As for keeping it in the open position, just over tighten the screw that is the button or replace it with a shorter one. And this can be reversed if you want it to fold again.

The other option it to weld it.

Thanks for the info I do not plan on it being a folder as I do not plan on cutting the receiver for the stock to fold.
