i couldn't understand at the time why my mother refused
to relocate with my father to southern california, from northern virginia.
then we got there and enjoyed the sunshine and just forgot about it.
it took me until i was 20 or so, and i finally realized the the Eagle's song
was a huge warning. I fled for NW Arkansas, and have slowly made
my way to parents original midwest, over the past 23 years.
i got out in '84, and that was just in time.
LA is a good 'pre-view' of
where this country is heading. take a hard look, be very afraid.
