I never got to handle one, only seen the ads. They are most likely cut down rifle barrels and I think you'd have to look them over closely like the WASR series rifle for any craftsmenship issues. Don't worry about the finish, the Romanians didn't worry about it either
,you just have to look past it and look at the mechanicals.
