Well I finally went and built my first Romy. All that I need to do test fire it

I like the side folder. Looks great! How did you finish the wood?

Oh, I bet Mr Daly would love it if you test fired it at your home.

Good job RLB. Told ya it wasn't too hard.

Actually I didn't touch the wood, it was a new set from K-var that I had
sitting in storage and had long forgotten about it. I'll be looking forward
    to your help .

No problem R. But you do know that it is mandatory bringing your first build to the shoot?? We'd hate to have to send you home after it.

Oh you can bet I'm gonna bring it and I'll probably bring another kit to build
also. I'm thinking maybe my Polish underfolder, I'm not sure. I have so many
    kits to choose from.

Ah why thankyou. Well it's just going to be one of many, I fear I have been bitten by the bug. Actually for the first build it was fun even when I did run into problems.
Hopefully the next one willbe smoother.

    RLB,

There are some guys over at AR15 that are trying to get a build party together in the BIY AK forum. Only problem looks like they got no tools and never did it before. I am in the middle of trying to sell my house with a prego wife (bad combo) or else I would be involved. Just a FYI.
