Postak My 1st Build (with a little help from my friends)

    Here's my 1st......
    With help from:

gtbehary for learning how to demil the kits...
(The barrel pin was removed with a air hammer)

pirate56 for the lessons in riveting, assembly and parkerizing.....

(great guys, thank you both )

The build was a little difficult at times ( I guess it had some Romanian curse put on it)
    but.......

    Got er' done!

    The details:
Parkerized receiver, safety and folding stock....
Dupli-color 1200 ceramic (baked in oven) to the receiver, barrel, mag. & tube.....
Refinished handguard with BIX stripper then MinWax Sedona Red stain followed by 4 coats of Tung Oil....
US Parts....G2 FCG, OOW receiver, flash hider and Tapco hand grip.....

Now I got to make it go BANG......

Looks nice. That bix is some STRONG smelling stuff. I tried using some of that stuff to help strip a linoleum floor at work a couple weeks ago. It didn't do much but soften the top layer of linoleum, but it made my head HURT!
