I took my latest project out to the range today to break it in. I ran 1 30 round mag through it the beginning of the week and knew it worked. I warmed it up and settled in the parts with 2 30 round mags rapid fire. nothing fell off so I proceeded to sight it in. after getting it on papar at about 40 yards I could consistantly hit 5 lb fire extinguishers at 130 yards off the bipod. having a bipod on it really is a nice feature.
It is as accurate as my tantal rifle, it has a fairly impressive fire ball, but not as impressive as my 5.45 krink with the 7" bbl. I will finish shortening the muzzle break next saturday and after parking it and the gas tube it will be complete.
Will from Red Jacket Firearms did a most excellent job shortening the bbl. I would recommend him highly for any type of bbl work. THANK YOU WILL!!
the target type crown is my favorite and adds to the accuracy of the gun. now I need to get busy and make some saw dust and cme up with a nice case for it
that thing would look cool with one of those bird cage style flashhiders on it . well , OK , it looks cool without it good job Stan
