    Default The 8 month Build..Tantal

Well, this started I thing in August last year. I ordered a GT custom receiver. Between F' Ups and hurricanes, etc...I finally got the receiver last week. I'm, not 100% happy with the finish, but it will do for now. I need to place an E clip inside the receiver to retain the selector lever and spot drill the selector markings. I ran a mag through it, it runs perfect. I'll probably retake these pics tomorrow....

Tell me could you put a scope rail on it by locating it just a little forward on the receiver?

I know you've been working on it all day...but take a pic during the daylight...It looks like you have a titty-pink upper handguard.

The selector looks like it turned out right on the money.

We supported the inside of the reciever with 1.25" of steel blocks and then pressed from the outside. It still had a little print of the die Global uses to stamp with, but you can't see it with the Tantal selector installed.
