Default Just one more, ak74 pistol

Just when I thought I had enough ak's after building my tantal pistol to go with my tantal rifle, I decided I needed a Bulgarian 74 pistol to go with my bulgy rifles.
I got one of the $229.00 mis match kits from ORF, it had very little wear and came apart easily. I shortened the bbl about 3 1/2" it is long enough to be accurate, and maintain most of the velocity. The only draw back is it won't shoot out an 18" fire ball like my 5.45 krink with the 7" bbl! I kind of wish I had gone for one of the front sight / gas block combos to make it shorter, but I wanted it to match the rifles I have, so I guess I will need to build one for a flame thrower!!

Well that it's nice doesn't surprise me as all of your builds are. I also like that it's going to match your rifle as far as the G/B and FSB. You can always make a Century rifle with the combo G/B and FS and then make a pistol to match that.

The nice thing about this place is that numbers of guns owned in three digits doesn't even get a weird look.
