I got the thing assembled today. I have a set of black plastic handguards coming for it, but I kind of like the wood. I can't wait till the weekend to get it out to the range.

Go for it. the kits are $229.00, sell the stock and you get most of the cost of the kit back. The bbl disassembles easily and there is a minimal amount of work to shorten it. My tantal pistol is fun to shoot and as accurate as the rifle version.

    That came out very nice.
Be sure to give us a range report after you test drive it.

A sharp looking little beast . Do you have a sling mount on the back of it ? Can't really tell from the picture . A single loop sling off the rear trunnion , work forward off the sling when shooting offhand . Works damn near as good as a stock

    Will,
I didn't put on a sling. I usually shoot my ak pistols off a sandbag. I like to give the AR guys a run at busting bowling pins at 130 yards. It humbles them after they look at it and say it is nice but useless.
you got that shake & bake ppsh done yet? lets see some pictures!!

It's done and running like a raped ape . You wouldn't believe how controlable it is in F/A . Very accurate in semi as well . Soon as I get somebody in here that can outsmart the camera AND the computer I'll get some pictures posted .

Very cool. Wish I had the guts to chop the end of one of my kit barrels. Nice work.
