    Default RPK Questions.....

Just got a Romanian RPK kit from DPH.
While I was getting all the wood parts off to refinish them I cracked the upper handguard....

Does any AK wood upper handguard fit?

Also, the windage has a adjustment screw and it's bent.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement screw/button? or is it easier to just replace the whole rear sight assembly?

A standard Romy upper handguard will work. The ones Ive seen on Romy RPKs all have been hardwood (non_laminated).

The RPK rear sight is pretty hard to find anymore. You may be able to take it apart and straighten out the screw.

I would take it off and see if you can straighten it out.

You mean the BFH is not the primary tool in building these things?
