    Default M70-AB2 is finished....

    After I had good luck with Brownell?s Oxpho-Blue on my 1928 Colt Tripod I decided to try it on a Yugo kit. It worked well even with the hardened NDS receiver. I blued the U/F assembly, some of the small parts, the mag, grenade launcher and the also the bolt carrier. It matched the original finish on the barrel assembly pretty well.

    That looks great! I see you have a "ring" around the swell neck rivet on the front. I've demilled several yugo kits that have the exact ring from the factory...

    It's all about the little details.......


    Actually it was a mistake caused by an over press of the rivet using plinker's jig... I didn't even know it was "correct" for the Yugo....
