There is no rattle in it. It is very solid. I do not think it is compatible with the Krink as the front end mounts in the akm style rear sight slot.

Clayco imported prebans where brought in very early, before Polytech ak's etc. That disclaimer was a legal requirement at that time.

I am still on the hunt for a Polytech Legend fixed stock.

Just wondering why you state that as a 56 clone?
Sure looks all 56 and darn tootin nice to me.
When I got my 56-1s years ago I kept them as such and did not put the bayo lug on them.
This being cause in Dr. Ezells book he states the 56-1s do not have the bayo lug.
So I did not buy them when Global had a bunch of Chinese bayo lugs. Still remember the conversation. "How many do you want?"

Edit.. Sorry. Meant too say the under folding bayo. lug.

That type 56 "clone" looks great!!! I wish more people would go the wood route over the "tacticool" stuff, but that's just me. Thumbs up!

+1, I like some of the "tactical tuperware" stuff but sometime to much is to much.

I listed it as a "clone" because it started out as just a lowly mak90 receiver. 6 compliance parts later, some mak90 remains, and the front end off of a demilled type 56 and, viola. It is a very accurate shooter. I use it for 100 yard steel plate shoots firing from kneeling and standing positions with the factory sights. I also had to paint it as the type 56 front end was parked and the mak90 receiver I managed to purchase was rusty.

I do like the original wood look. I have the DSA, Texas Weapons Systems, and the Krebs top rails and everytime I put one on one of the ak's, I end up returning it to stock sights. Not for any reason other than I like the factory look.

The government has deemed you own too many AK variants, to appease them please ship 2 rifles to me.
