Polytech Legend finally acquired

Vector Arms AKM Heavy Barrel
Looks like they used a Russian type 3 barrel assembly with the threads turned down and pressed into an East German trunnion. Magpul stock, Vltor tube, CTR grip, Krebs rail, Primary Weapons flash hider, G2 FCG, Ncstar compact mildot 3x9 illuminated reticle. It is my plate gun.

Updated SA93 with replacement gas block, FSB, and cleaning rod. Still need to thread the muzzle and install the lower tang.

New Updates SA93
Bulgy Type 3 gas block and FSB. Kvar lower stock tang -- not as good as a factory original piece as only one rivet can be mounted inside the receiver instead of two, but it does the job. Roughed out the rear receiver, then hand filed the lower tang recess over a few afternoons. Z-recto magic'ed Polish laminate.

Ahhhhhhh, finally range tested...
Projectguns built 1958 Polish. Short rail slips into the rear sight slot without modification to the rifle. It's just a Hammers 2x42mm red dot and can slam clays on a hillside at 100yds. These things are AWESOME fun!

Very Nice! The bling Maadi is definitely different. I'd like to have one as a conversion piece. Great Work !!!

Oh my god man, so amazing. Possibly the best collection of photos I've found yet on the net. You are talented at building these. You ought to open a museum. Do you have any way of photographing all of them together? This is cool too cus it's sort of a resource for me. I'd like to build one identical to the 1970 Romanian MD63 you have. I've always loved the forward pistol grip, I wish more people were into putting those on their AK's.

I have them, but don't leave them attached. I also have a 223 Yugo spigot for the M90A with the grenade sight accessory and a USMC EOD demilled rifle grenade from Bosnia. I'll have to retake some pics.

One of mine-a Turbothis reweld:

Overall the work turbo did is outstanding. It was well worth the wait (his skill level far surpasses mine). As soon as I get all the parts I need together + funds he will be getting my MPI-KS and Type III. I am hoping they turn out just as nicely. Except for a few mill marks on the rear left lightening cut you would think it was an original receiver. The weld marks are really only visible if you look for them (I can't even see all of them clearly)
I know the East German mag isn't cutting it. As soon as I have the coin to drop, I'll get a Yugo lily mag.
