yes I did finish this some time ago and yes I have fired it some in the past too. SO why post about fireing it... I had only fired it to get it functioning properly before. This time I went to the pit with it.
I did not bring targets with me because I thought it would take a lot of time to get it close. when I started out on a differant build with a scope it was WAY off to start. I assumed the M-76 would be way off too. WELL here is the good news, at 100 yards it was off about 8 inch and about 5 inch low. I simpaly fired as spots in the sand bank and adjusted the scope till it was rite on the spot. about 25 rounds of setting and playing. then I moved back to about 250 yards, first round I put a small stone in the bank rite behind the cross-hair and pulled. the stond shattered to dust!! WOW !!
I did not touch the adjustments again but I did fire about another 75 rounds. I had a great time, it has been too long since I have fired at the pit.
next time I go to the pit I will bring paper targets with me so I can do the final exact adjustments to the scope. it will be nice to start adjusting at the paper target with the scpoe allready prety close.
all in all a much better that expected day at the pit!!

A day well spent! Nice M76, too! What a combo...

Excellent job. That reminds me, I've got to burn a few rounds tomorrow.
