    built this using a yugo m70 frontend from apex, tapco flat, amd gas tube, saiga lhg etc.

    barrel length is a hair over 10". the hand guard fits in the horizontal slot on the front, bottom of trunnion and is bolted on a modified original lhg retainer that has a nut welded on it. i just got lucky the whole damn thing lined up perfectly except the nub that fits the slot was a tad wide and was ground down, and i had to enlarge the channel to fit over the front of the rear sight.
