Talking First kit done. Romy non-g

Finally got the first kit built, one of many. I had started this at least a year and a half ago and was stopped several times due to moves and other personal stuff. I used a Tapco flat, not sure I will do that again! I am now debating what to build next. I have a Yugo full stock with a NDS receiver or I could go for the Egyptian with Romy barrel on an AK-Builder flat. Typically when you have more than one build do you guys build and then park or do each one as you finish? I have not fired it yet, hoping to do that over the weekend. I would like to thank all of you who have helped me over the years.

Oh, one more question, on the bolt carrier. The Romy kit bolt carrier did not have any finish on it. Do guys typically park these as well? I personally think it would look better not parking it and leaving the bolt carrier as is.

Romanian bolt carries caome with a black oxide parked finish, someone polished that one up. I'd park it with the rest of the rifle or it will end up rusting.

Good job on your first build.

Thank you for your kind comments. I imagine from what I read starting a full NDS receiver will be a piece of cake. I also can see the differences with the AK-Builder flat versus the Tapco. I had to to do alot of egging on the Tapco, thats for sure.

    Congrats on the build.
Did you refinish the furniture? That looks great

Believe it or not when I bought the kit here on Gunco the previous owner had already done it and it was completely de-milled as well.

So what would you guys reccomend I build next?
