very nice Blue.
A couple of Yugo builds I finished up in the past month or so. A couple of non-bulged slabside Yugo's. A M70B (aka B1 first pattern) and a M70AB1. Both have the 1mm receiver and non-bulged trunnion. The rear sight base has the electro style Zastava markings and the front trunnions are unmarked.
Metal finish is original and NDS receivers are unfinished. I may blue the entire rifles at some point. The bright sun accents the mismatched metal a bit., but I like the original look.
Both are all matching with original barrels..
These were the early stamped AK pattern rifles right after the move from milled receivers. Five digit serial numbers vs 6 digit on later Yugo bulged trunnion rifles. Six rivet underfolder like the milled vs the later 8 rivet. Trunnions are unique and wider for the 1mm receiver.
Great looking pair.

Nice builds ,thanks for the pics .
Good looking Yugo, and a great job building them.
Your in my Mind, and in my Sights
Those look fantastic Blue. I love anything Yugo, but especially the M70 slabsides. I have a nice slabside u/f that I built on an AK Builder flat a few years ago. It was early in my building days and looks like crap. I'm thinking of rebuilding it as a fixed stock, using a Tabuk stock that I have, and putting the folder on an M70 milled u/f that I currently have the wrong folder on. Just need a fixed stock rear trunnion with the dust cover latch pin hole. Thanks to your beautiful builds, you have just moved this up my priority list. Thanks!!!
