    Default Bulgarian Milled Kit

I finished this up a couple of months ago. Finally got around to test firing it and parkerizing it. One of the milled Bulgarian kits I picked up when they were IIRC $115 or so. Built on a Ak-Builder flat, Romanian front and rear trunnions, Yugo barrel. A "Frankenbuild" as some call them, but makes a good rifle.

This was my first attempt at Parkerizing a rifle, came out pretty good.

    Lookin' good. Nice build.

Those Bulgy kits were as cheap as $99 when I got a few. Not matching but. Now any AKM front trunnion is $85-$100 if you want to go the milled to stamped conversion route. And the Yugo barrel from CFS got more pricey and more questionable bores. So it goes I guess.
