Default take a loot what I made tonight

well I spent a LONG time but it is basicly done. I have a friend that got a AMD65 kit so I decided to make one. I know a number of guys asked me to try to make some. so with that in mind I had a lil fun and thought I would post a pic. It is VERY similar to the AK brake it looks like with contained expantion chamber and two holes pointing up along with the two large notches on the sides. All in all it went good makeing it but it was NOT QUICK at all. after machineing I parked it so it would not rust or anything till it is used. he can paint or whatever he wants later on.
WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK?? NOT BAD FOR HOME MADE..

Looks good, but the real test is to see if it works. There are a lot of brakes out there that really don't do anything, meaning that they don't brake muzzle climb. Did you happen to drill the vent holes at the correct angle (hard to tell in the picture).

Please let us know how well it works.

the only real reason I made the brake was to make the barrel long enough. anything else is extra. As for will this keep the barrel down,,, here is what I did. you be the judge, I work for fun. I drilled 11 mm up through the back, I drilled 11/16 down through the front. I turned a notch for a "cap" to be welded onto the end of the brake with a 9.5mm hole in it to create a expantion chamber. clearly you can see the two milled like slots in the sides to vent pressure out the sides as bullet passes out the end cap. their are the two holes in the top of the brake to help keep it down. .. I assaume thies are what you are talking about. the angle in the original one that I was coppieing had two the same size and they went strate down,,, so my holes go strate down. I guess if the barrel climed too much I could open the two holes op some more a littel at a time. It seems to me a bigger hole would push down more ... rite?? if I upped the hole size a littel at a time I could find a good size hole. I do not know this from experiance but it seems to make sence to me.
if you have any suggestions please post in as I like to try new projects.
either way I do not see me makeing a bunch of thies, it took too long and I would not feel comfortable asking a fair price for them.

I got the cap welded on the end idea from a AMD65 brake I saw , that is what they did in order to get a bigger hole in the middel and a smaller hole on both ends.
I welded on the cap then put it back in the lathe , smoothed everything back so you see no weld marks and a slightly rounded end corner. If the guy at work dose not want it I will , try to get it to someone here if anyone wants it.. but the guy at work gets first choise..
