Looks good!!! What receiver did you use? Also how'd you shorten the S.A. buttstock?

Had to improvise a bit on the stock shortening. Cut it at3/8" before where it enters the steel housing . Heat and "wrench" out the steel bits left inside. I then just re-epoxied the "legs" back in and drilled down through the existing roll pin hole. It might not last as long as the original factory config. but in 400 + rnds. It's still in place.
On the receiver : you had to ask I suppose ! The receiver is not an IMI. and required A LOT of "fiddle" time . Some of the holes were not quite where they should have been. The bullet guide and ejector needed work.

Where's the receiver from? It sure doesn't look like one of the welded back togethers!!

    Default Stock pics added

Back to the stock. As you can hopefully see, the end of the stock terminates in full diameter steel on the SA type, which initially made me think I'd screwed up having already committed with a hacksaw.
Also made a buffer to fit in the stock. The stock pin holds it in place. Works well.

Nice work, I like the way you shortened it. I have a pre ban I'm trying to line up enough parts to do a weld pack Galil with a 1" in 7" barrel, using the old receiver ends as trunions. I'm almost there just need a gas tube, bolt and bolt carrier and some help from some great guys on this board
