    Default polish underfolder

I have heard you need to weld up a hole on a vulcan receiver to do the underfolder is this true?

There's a new vulcan receiver that's ready-to-go for the underfolder. Haven't seen what all is involved, so I can't comment on whether all the holes are drilled or not.

If you are going to use a standard reciever like a vulcan, their will be holes in the back that will not line up. you may be able to fill them with something like JB weld, if you are satisfied with that. you will have to make new differant holes to use the folder too.
I have a few options for you.
#2 buy a standard pre drilled reciever and weld the holes full then grind them smooth again.
    #3 JB weld again
#4 ignor them , maby not the best idea to look at.

#1 was ask global to not drill the rears,, but now I think you can not ues a global due to their thicker reciever. I do not think you can grind down the rear on a floder, Vulcan will not do anything for you but MABY OOW will be willing to make one without drilling the rear. If welding the holes is not an option I would call OOW on the phone and ask directly

I saw that and was debating whether to get the old one or get the new one . The price difference is $45 for the old to $75 + $10 for the finish for the new. I just wanted to know what the fitting on the old one would entail. and see if I needed to weld up an old hole.

probably couldn't plug it up with a short rivet, could you???

that would make it look at least functional...
probably no room to do so with the rear trunion in place???
