Default Advice for Ironwood laminate Chinese color?

I bought an Ironwood laminate set for my Mak 90. I already changed the barrel with a brand new no ban Polytech and I want it to look similar to the Chinese color furniture as possible. Any advice on stain and color. i can do the rit dye but what color? Maybe yellow and something else? I dont know.......

Here is my attempt to duplicate the Norinco orange color. The pistol grip is from Ironwood, it is maple. First I wetted the grip, then sanded it with 220 grit sandpaper, then 320 grit, then 400 grit, and finished up with rubbing it with steel wool. Then I applied the wood conditioner. I let it soak in for 20 minutes then applied the Golden Pecan stain. I applied a coat of Golden Pecan stain daily until it wasn't getting any darker. Then I applied 4 coats of the amber shellac.
