    Default how do you remove the black finish?

    i was thinking of taking a romanian kit and stripping it completely and then blueing it to make it sorta look like a yugo. how do you get the finish off of the barrel and all the other parts?

    Agree sandblast or bead blast depending on the texture of the finish you want ....

    Sandblast. 40=50 psi for alum. oxide, 90psi for bead blast. I'm sure it will look super when it's blued. I know those romys are rough, but with all the love and ingenuity everyone puts into them, they end up really nice. We could have a thread, " how many different ways to build a romy"
