    Default "Chrome it" coming....stay tuned

ok, I have been wanting this done for a long time. After several phone calls emails and pm's I have found a local guy that "ain't skeered"
This is a Romy kit that will be transformed from ugly duckling into a beautiful swan... (ok , it's a matter of taste) I seriously considered the Yugo UF, but I think for a trial run this is best.
Those that are going to bad mouth it, don't even respond. Those that want to make suggestions; please respond..
My only real concern is the magazine catch and gas tube lever, possibly the axis pins and the carrier....
Here's what it looks like prepped and ready to go, probably get this out tomorrow to this guy.... I think I am going to let him borrow it...lol

    Here is the before:

Kevin, I can't wait to see it when it's done. Good luck..

I've got a Krink kit that I'm going to SBR this year. I plan on doing it in gold plate, ala Saddam Hussain style, but with a twist.

Instead of the Iraqi seal that he had imbedded on his guns, I've got a Second Amendment Task Force Charter Founder pin that I've put in mine.

    What do you think??

You have to have been one of the Charter Founders of the Second Amendment Task Force. I got that about fifteen years ago...

The NRA has a slew of usable medallions and pins. If I didn't already have this one I'd probably have bought something from the NRA for it's use.

I had contemplated using one of my CBA pins (Concerned Bikers Association) but the NRA one would look so much better with the gold plating I plan to use...

Kevin -- I'm all for having fun with these things.

Most of us can now build a legal gun for less than $150 and these aren't collector pieces. Lordy -- we can even make lamps out of them!!

    Kevan_m-4,
You might want to find out how thick his plating will be and reduce some of your clearences by that much. Like where the mag locks up and maybe the gas tube area.
