    Default poly urethane

    I found a photo of what trying to dull a urethane results in. I didn't use an additive.
    You can see spraying it on dry results in a grainy finish. If you hit it with steel wool it
    would show scratches and turn white. Did these a year or two ago and forgot they were
    still in a box in the basement

    That Tru-oil job looks nice. Is touch up fairly easy?

    It's some kind of oil with dryers in it so touch up is very easy. take the wax off
    if you have put any on and re-oil the area. I did that gun in linseed oil in the sixties
    it was durable but always looked like crap. It's about done shooting now so was
    time to doll it up.
