    Default DIY electroless nickel

Has anyone tried one of those DIY electroless nickel kits?

They seem to be in the $200 range, but that's about the price I'm seeing to have a gun done by someone else.

I have wanted to try that process, mostly the hard chrome, it would be great for boosters, pistons and other parts that get carboned up. Caswell plating has a lot of different kits
