Unhappy Drilling UF hole in an OOW rec.

I read the BATFE rules about obliterating, altering, or destroying markings on the receiver. My question is can I drill the holes for an UF stock, right where it says 7.62 on an OOW rec. without getting an invitr to visit the graybar hotel?

It didn't seem to stop JoeKen from doing it to Vulcan receivers.

you can move the marking as long as the letters stay the same size or larger, see pookie's site on the saiga sidefolder project
That which does not kill you, makes you stronger

There are thousands of OOW's cut open for the underfolder, I have never seen any legal issues mentioned anywhere about it. ( I have 3)
If you are worried about it use the Armory receiver and avoid any obliteration.

OOW choose the place for their logo, and how big to make it - you didn't. If it makes their product unfit for service? Too bad for the logo.
