I am hoping that Martinez holds on to his win in Florida. Betty Caster is a gun grabbing liberal who is now filing suit for the Senate seat.

I don't think it's time, yet. Watch the Great Gun Debate between Wayne La Pierre and Rebecca Peters. We're fighting for our Constitution, much less the Second Amendment.

    WE

Yes, We, need to educate the public about the right to keep and bear arms, and we need to educate them about firearms. That is not something for us to delegate to the NRA, or any other groups. We are all educated in firearms and ammunition, and if we can't sell our product, why expect someone else to do it?

I think there will come a time when the Firearm Owners Protection Act can be repealed, or amended, but now is not the time. Let's consolidate our gains and educate.
Necessity is the plea of every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants, it is the creed of slaves." William Pitt 1783

"The said Constitution shall never be interpreted to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeoping their own arms." Samuel Adams

The ground work has already been laid by various groups including the NRA.

There has been a slow chipping away at the Nation Firearms Transfer Registry , which is to say the least , inaccurate. Bills have been introduced.

The idea of opening an Amnesty period (legal per GCA-68) has been raised and is being persued. Bills have been introduced for this as well.

Removing the Chief Law Enforcement Officer sign off on NFA transfers have been challenged in court. (This requires the Sheriff , Police Chief , or other LE to sign the form stating that they don't think you will misuse it - without the signature you don't get approved - the requiremnt allows local LE ban NFA weapons by not signing and is outdated in the computer - criminal backround check age .)

Support the NRA - THEY GOT BUSH RE-ELECTED ! Tell them to support these bills when they come up again.

    Support Gunowners of America.

Support Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.

When the idea of legal NFA MG ownership is brought up in a sane manner , it can sound more mainstream.

NO CRIME COMMITTED WITH A NFA WEAPON SINCE 1934 (except 1 murder committed by a cop, in Cinncinatti.) NFA owners are THE most law abiding citizens.
