Default Parts kits restricted in proposed AWB for WA

they explicitly call out parts kits being illegal in the new legistation.... This was first read a few days ago.

    http://apps.leg.wa.gov/documents/bil...Bills/6396.pdf

    Hope this doesn't go anywhere.

    What about this!!!

    (11) "Machine gun" means any firearm known as a machine gun,
mechanical rifle, submachine gun, or any other mechanism or instrument not requiring that the trigger be pressed for each shot and having a reservoir clip, disc, drum, belt, or other separable mechanical device for storing, carrying, or supplying ammunition which can be loaded into the firearm, mechanism, or instrument, and fired therefrom at the rate of five or more shots per second.

LOL, so if it only shoots 4.9999 rounds per second it's not a machine gun??? 299 rounds per minute, and it's not a machine gun?!?

Who lets these morons write these laws???

Wow, and the rest of it is so horribly restrictive that it sends chills down my spine... especially the provision to allow random yearly property inspections by the county sheriff!

PS - They do ban evil guns with barrel shrouds and pump action AK's.

it is not a matter of "if we will lose all our gun rites" it is only a matter of when.

I just typed a 3990 character letter to my senator. I could have made it 20000 but I was limited to 4000...

The "Nonimmigrant alien" definition says it all.

Illegal alien precedes the term and is an accurate definition. Every "definition" since is political posturing.
I have a daughter. I tell her, "911 is what you dial after you're raped. 1911 is what you should have before they try."

Wow this is unbelievable - well not really considering the times, but definitely absurd that they can even attempt to ban metal parts.....guess you'll have to make it over to the free state of Idaho to buy your "scrap" metal parts

Is WA that big an anti gun state or are their just a few politicians that need to be voted out?

Even more amusing in that bill, they ban muzzle brakes... but not flash hiders.

    Genius!

The way it is written, to be affected the weapon must have a detachable magazine with a capacity of greater than 10 rounds. Even more genius. It's written poorly. It will do nothing but make gun owners who want to remain legal jump through hoops.
