    Default Form 1 Stamps

I want to build an intregally suppressed Sterling "type" SBR. The rifle will not be able to fire without the suppressor since the barrel is a major part of it. Another unsuppressed barrel could not be put into the rifle so it could be fired because without the suppressor, there is no way to hold the barrel in the receiver.

Will I have to submit forms for one or two stamps?

    Thanks

As long as the bbl cannot be removed from the suppressor and it is permanently attached, the length of the suppressor counts when measuring the bbl. If that length is over 16", it is not an SBR and only the suppressor would need registered. Just be sure if the suppressor is disassembled the part left attached to the bbl is the one getting it to legal length. The bbl attachment to the receiver is irrelevant as long as you have no other short bbls laying around.
