The National Rifle Association opened both barrels on Mayor Bloomberg yesterday, comparing his efforts to rein in gun violence to the city's botched response to last month's blizzard. A top official for the powerful gun rights group told a crowd of sportsmen that Bloomberg -- whom he repeatedly derided as "Mayor Blame" -- was attempting to deflect responsibility for local gun crimes, just as he did when the city's unplowed streets left New Yorkers fuming.
