Earlier today, House Bill 222 passed on its Third and Final Reading by a 41 to 28 vote, with one vote absent. This important self-defense legislation would allow for the lawful carry of a firearm on college and university campuses for self-defense, as long as the individual is not restricted from legally carrying a firearm by any state or federal law. HB 222 will now be sent to the state Senate for committee assignment.
